While these annual dance exams are not mandatory, they are strongly recommended.  By progressing through the required syllabus, dancers learn new steps and dances at a rate appropriate to their level of dancing.  Annual dance exams are an excellent tool to track individual progress and further develop technique.  The medals and certificates are also something to treasure as a mark of accomplishment!   

Please return medal test slip with payment by April 1st.

Tartan Day on Parliament Hill - Performance Opportunity

Please join us Sunday, April 11 12-1pm for a fun and informal performance!  The Sons of Scotland Pipeband host an annual Tartan Day Celebration on Parliament hill with great music, lots of dancing, and all things Scottish. 

All dancers who know their Highland Fling by April 11 may join in for the Massed Highland Fling at the end of show.  Adult/Premier dancers and some Beginner/Novice dancers from Bytown Highland Dance will also be performing a Highland Reel.

Invite your friends and family and join us on Parliament Hill dressed in your favorite tartan!
