Golden Ghillie Award –New this year!
The Golden Ghillie Award is an award that will be presented to a Bytown Highland Dancer each month. This award will recognize those dancers who show outstanding effort in class and through practice at home. The dancer will be allowed to take the award home for one month to show family and friends, in addition to a small gift to keep.
What can dancers do to improve their chances of being selected for the Golden Ghillie Award?

Attend all classes

Remember to bring dance shoes, proper clothes, and notebooks to class

Be polite and listen to corrections and instructions from your teacher

Practice at home and correct mistakes given in class

Have a positive attitude and be friendly in dance class

Participate in performance opportunities and other functions (competitions are not necessary)
